Please note

  • The House of Bread adheres to the values and statement of the Evangelical Alliance. We ask that guests honour these values.
  • We operate on a self-catering basis only. We can recommend a caterer.

For residential guests

  • The House of Bread has 19 bedrooms, mostly twin with en-suite, sleeping a maximum of 38 guests. See bedroom plan for details.
  •  Bedding is provided, guests need to bring their own towels.
    On day of departure guests are requested to remake their bed with fresh linen.

Suggested donations

The House of Bread is a faith ministry. Donations enable the maintenance and running of the site. (Please contact us for concessionary rates).

These are minimum rates that cover basic costs.

Residential guests

  • Shared occupancy of bedrooms: £35 pppn (per person per night)
  • Single occupancy supplement: £5 pppn
  • Group bookings: one night only stay supplement for Friday or Saturday night of £10 pp
  • Discount for stays of three or more nights of £5 pppn
  • Weekend group bookings – we ask for a minimum donation to cover six guests for a two-night stay
  • Accompanied children: 0-3 years free, 4-16 years 50% discount

This includes:

Tea and coffee – please provide your own milk
A self-catering kitchen and dining room
Meeting room
Additional meeting rooms by arrangement

Day guests

  • £15 per person or:
  • Up to 6 people £75
  • Up to 10 people £120
  • Up to 15 people £150
  • Up to 20 people £200
  • Up to 30 people £240
  • From 31 to 50 people £250

This includes:

A self-catering kitchen and dining room
Meeting room

Evening guests

  • £5 per person or:
  • Up to 6 people £25
  • Up to 10 people £40
  • Up to 15 people £55
  • Up to 20 people £70
  • Up to 30 people £80
  • From 31 to 50 people £85

  • For weekday residential groups – £10 pp or £150
  • For weekend residential groups – £200

The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another booking if six months notice of cancellation is given.

You will receive a reply informing you that your booking is available or giving you alternative dates.
