Soaking Prayer

Soaking prayer is a time to rest and wait in God’s presence, it is a time to listen and receive. As we draw close to God, He promises to draw close to us. We have been deeply encouraged, strengthened and healed as we have taken time to be still before God. You are warmly invited to come and join us.

‘Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters … listen, listen to me …’ Isaiah 55

‘Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him…’ Psalm 37

Saturday 16 March

The battle rages on a daily basis over our identities. Our own thoughts work against us and our identities are often being built on shaky ground. God wants to give you revelation and give you the permission and power to enjoy becoming what he sees and says about you. We will look at the part wilderness times play in our journey and learn more about the practices that enable us to look forward with unshakeable confidence to what God is doing in, and through, our lives.

Caroline Phelps will be sharing and teaching.

Saturday 29 June

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Cor 5:17)

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he has called – his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. (Eph 1:18)

Ruth Bourne will be teaching us about practical steps to take every day, that bring resurrection life and Kingdom reality to all you think and do. Come and learn how to learn how to live as more than a conqueror.

Saturday 23 November – ‘Abundant life’

The Bible tells us that Satan comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but that Jesus came so that we can have abundant life. (John 10:10)

Come and learn to walk in the abundant life that Jesus offers those who trust in him. What does abundant life look like? What are the keys to unlocking fullness of life in our own lives, and those around us?

Taryn Rumney will be teaching – bringing revelation from the Word and drawing on her own journey of faith. She was born in Rhodesia, moved to South Africa, where she was a pastor, and came to the UK in October 2010.
